We have been to St Louis many times but I always feel like I have never been there. I think it is because we never went to scope the view from the top of the arch. This time we decided to bite the bullet and head to the top. The boys and I thought it was totally worth it. Jenn thought it was just OK.

Indianapolis
The first night we stayed in Indianapolis. It was quite the adventure to get there. We ended up driving right through a big Midwestern storm. The next day we had plans to take Andrew to a fire fighter Museum (he dreams of fighting fires someday) but it was closed due to the snow. We stopped to check out the Indianapolis motor speedway which was pretty cool and cheap to boot.
Hoosier Hill
Shortly after crossing the Indiana border on I70 we took a slight detour to Hoosier hill. The highlight wasn't even the high point but was the drive to get there. It some "thrill hills" on the way out and the boys loved the feeling of being on a roller coaster. Hoosier Hill = 383 m of elevation
OMS III testing
At the end of third year, all the students head back to Kirksville to participate in OMS III testing. We have had a long winter and are tired of feeling cooped up, so we decided to take the whole family and do a little "high pointing" and site seeing on the way.
