I completed my first year of medical school June 1. The next day 6 other med students and I headed on a short road trip to Detroit, MI to scoop out some of our possible rotation sites for 3rd and 4th year. We got back to Kirksville at about 4 a.m on June the 4th. On the 6th of June Jenn and I had the van packed and ready to go. We loaded up the boys and made the long voyage back to the mothership (Utah). We expected the worst, but unusual to their normal form P and A were fantastic for the whole trip. Probably 6 total minutes of crying for the 17 hour road trip (this was not the case for the ride home, more on that later). We stopped in Hays, KS and ate lunch. If you ever have the chance to stop and check out Hays, KS do yourself a favor and keep driving. We also stopped by our favorite little Mexican place in Glenwood Springs, CO. We final arrived in Vernal, UT on the 8th at 10:00.
